I designed and built this piece to meet several specific needs of the pastor. He wanted a simple black stand, similar to the metal music stands on stage. On top he wanted a beautiful stained wood top, wide enough to hold both a bible and an iPad, with a place for a drink. Lastly he needed the height to be adjustable for guest speakers, which I achieved by making a separate and removable base platform.
