Microvellum & Autocad Tips

As an introduction, I wanted to write a post about my plans for a couple of topics I plan to post about here on my blog.

I currently work full time as and commercial millwork and casework engineer, drafting, designing and programming cabinets and woodwork for CNC production. I spend most of my time in Autocad and Microvellum Toolbox, but also use Alphacam and am starting to get into Fusion 360 now. Doing this full time, I have started to compile certain standard practices and procedures for how my company works with these programs, and have also come up with many useful tips and tricks we use on a regular basis to make the software work how we need it to.

I hope to begin to document these here in one location so that eventually this can serve as a helpful resource for other users possibly facing some of the same hurdles that we have found solutions to. As it develops, this may cover topics in Autocad, Microvellum, Fusion 360, or any other type of software I may be working in, and I will tag the posts accordingly.

I hope this can be useful, and would welcome any questions or contributions you may have through email.
